about

"Nas A" is an album inspired by the small, underappreciated spaces of sound we encounter on a daily basis. I attempted to extrapolate these small morsels into an entire composition, with a focus on texture and meditation.

Tracks 1, 3 and 6 were made using Norns' Cheat Codes script, which rearranges, dismantles and rebuilds various samples and drum loops.

Tracks 2, 4-5 and 7-11 were made using Ciat Lonbarde's Cocoquantus and Plumbutter and an Elektron Digitone.

All tracks were processed using Chase Bliss' Lossy and Generation Loss and OTO Machines' BAM and BOUM.
